There's an avalanche of keyword research tools and services out there after your hard earned cash. They range from exceptionally good services to well, really crap ones. Here's my 'at a glance' comparison of the major players, with main points and notes on each.

Keyword Elite	$176.00		85%	Almost lives up to the hype. A powerful bit of kit with an absolute wealth of good keyword digging options. Let down slightly by not having a simple popularity score for each phrase. More details

WordTracker	From $7.88		82%	An online service that's been around for years and is still the main choice for many people's keyword research. Build massive, useful keyword lists quickly. Does feel slightly clunky compared to the newer software tools however. More details

Rapid Keyword	$69.99		75%	A slightly cheaper entry into the keyword research market and certainly not a bad one. Perform competitive analysis, dig out keyphrases that are in demand and manage your lists. Looks and feels a little dated compared to some other tools though. More details
Golden Keywords	$49.95		22%	It's hard to find any good things to say about this product. It falls flat on just about every front. I'm sure there's someone out there who will love this product. But my advice would be to stay well away. Difficult to use and builds small, poor keyword lists. More details
